The ICI research group's main activities are to develop methods and models for innovation of global business models that can be used by both researchers as well as ICI networks.

The purpose of the research group is to analyze the potential for innovation of new global business models, primary in companies and organizations in Northern Jutland and secondary in Denmark and the EU. Furthermore ICI must organize an international innovation and organizations anchorage with innovation centers in Silicon Valley (USA), Munich (EU) and Shanghai (China).
